im a c5/6 quad im in a reclining powew chair with 2 stage 4 woulds and have a roho hiprofile. i weigh 252lbs 6’2. how do you know when your cushion needs air. how much is 2 much or 2 little. i also have a shower camode cushion besided the air does anyone know of a good way to keep it mounted to a activade shower chair
Here is a link to instructions on how to properly inflate your cushion. http://www.therohogroup.com/proper_adjustment.jsp I recommend doing a seating evaluation with your clinician to see the level of air that fits your needs. Then note the amount of air between the lowest part of your bottom and the seat. I also recommend checking the air level in your cushion daily.
Since the Shower-Commode Cushion does not come with a cover, it does not have a way to stay mounted on a shower chair. One thought is to try Velcro on the bottom of the cushion. I would check first with the shower chair manufacturer to see what they recommend.
